Friends don’t let friends use speed “stab” wiring! I was relocating a switch a few weeks ago. Found two in a box both broken. Replaced and wired the new ones with hooks under screws which takes all of 30 seconds more. Have since redone the entire house finding 100% failure of switches on inspection. Some of these were accidents waiting to happen. I really love the one the previous owner clearly found and “fixed” by wrapping in layers of electrical tape. Outlets fare slightly better but still don’t recommend. Here is a good article that covers this in more detail. https://www.thespruce.com/not-using-push-in-terminal-on-switches-1152406 #DIY #electric
